Hue yellow apricot blossom has a unique beauty that few flowers possess; it is a tree that conveys personality, people, and has been used in history, poetry, and painting. Hue yellow apricot blossom has become a "messenger" - symbolizing the spring of Hue and the southern land. On April 26/4/2021, 915/ the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province issued Decision No. 915/QD-UBND approving the Project "Building Thua Thien Hue into the land of the Yellow Apricot of Vietnam" to promote and preserve the values of the Yellow Apricot of Hue.

Nearly 400 Apricot Masterpieces Featured at 2nd Yellow Apricot Festival in Hue 2024

Taking place from February 1st to 7th, the 2nd Yellow Apricot Festival in Hue 2024 showcased nearly 400 exceptional Yellow Apricot artworks by artists from various associations across Thua Thien Hue province. During this event, the Intellectual Property Office awarded the Geographic Indication Certificate for Hue to Yellow Apricot products from Thua Thien Hue province.
