    In 1306, Che Man emperor used two land Chau O, Chau Ly as an offering to marry Princess Huyen Tran (Tran dynasty), a strip of land from the south bank of the Thach Han river to the north bank of the Thu Bon river joined the territory of Dai Viet. In 1307, the Tran Dynasty changed the name of Chau O Thanh to Chau Thuan, Chau Ly to Chau Hoa.

Since the death of King Le Thai To (1434), Champa's army repeatedly attacked Chau Hoa, in 1446 King Le Nhan Tong sent a large army to actively attack Champa in order to keep the land in peace.
