The Acecook Happiness Concert with the theme "Sounds of Happiness", featuring many outstanding performances, truly captivated a large audience in the ancient capital. It took place on the evening of March 23 at the Huong River Theatre of Hue Academy of Music (1 Le Loi, Thuan Hoa District).

The event was organized by Hue Academy of Music in collaboration with Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company. Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien, former member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, former Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City; and Mr. Hoang Khanh Hung, Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Head of the City's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Also present were Mr. Mori Takero, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, and his wife. Particularly noteworthy was the presence of nearly 1,000 attendees, including tourists and local residents of Hue.

The program followed two previous concerts held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. At those events, the organizers raised 160 million VND from ticket sales. This amount was allocated to social welfare projects, including the "Lighting Up Border Roads" project and 20 scholarships totaling 70 million VND in A Luoi District, as well as the "Children's Playground" project and 20 scholarships totaling 70 million VND in Quang Dien District. On the night of the Hue concert, the organizers awarded 20 scholarships worth 20 million VND to students of the Hue Academy of Music.

Traditional Hue music was truly captivating during the concert

The "Sounds of Happiness" concert in Hue tonight continues to spread happiness through music, creating meaningful community connections. The audience experienced outstanding musical works featuring traditional, folk, and choral performances.

Speaking at the concert, Mr. Shimada Shigeru, Senior Executive Director and Chief of Staff at Acecook Vietnam, expressed his deep emotions, saying that it was truly touching to witness a hall filled with a vibrant audience. In this wonderful space, people from all walks of life including students, the elderly, and young children, had gathered together.

Mr. Shigeru added that the Acecook Happiness Concert 2025 in Hue was not only about bringing music to the community but also about supporting meaningful social projects. 

More than anything, music is the greatest bridge of connection. From the highlands to the lowlands, from outdoor stages to today’s theater, music has erased all distances, connected hearts, and spread joy and happiness.

“Acecook Happiness Concert is not just a series of concerts; it is a journey of sharing. We believe that music has the power to heal, inspire, and connect people. The 2025 concert series fully embodies the spirit that Acecook Vietnam has pursued for the past 30 years: bringing more happiness to the community, fostering deeper connections, and moving towards a sustainable future,” Mr. Shigeru affirmed.

With more than 15 performances, the concert delivered a unique, engaging, and unforgettable musical experience for the audience. Some standout performances included the opening choir pieces Furusato, The Gypsies, Follow the Drinking Gourd; melodic highlights such as Mot vong Viet Nam, Canh chim tu do, Am sac huong binh, Hue xua, Ly ngua o Hue, Va hoa se no, Vu khuc mua xuan; as well as instrumental showcases, including piano ensembles, violin solos, and energetic Flamenco dances.

The performances blended multiple musical styles, fostering cultural exchange while preserving and promoting traditional Vietnamese music in a modern setting.
