At the festival, visitors could enjoy a wide variety of noodle dishes, including Hue Beef Noodle, tuna noodle, noodles with fermented anchovy sauce, Hue-style mixed noodles, thin noodles served with fish sauce, and duck noodles from the Tam Giang Lagoon… In addition, booths showcased and sold local specialties and OCOP products from Kim Tra, such as Goi cakes, Huong Can conical hats, Duong Son rice wine, VietGAP-certified guavas, and peanut candy, etc., offering visitors more opportunities to experience the region’s distinctive culinary products.
Kim Tra Ward Culinary Festival is one of the activities within the series of events of Ba Bun Worship Ceremony, organized by Kim Tra Ward from March 9 to 10. The event aims to commemorate and honor the founding ancestor of Van Cu rice noodle village, while continuing to preserve and promote the value of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage “Van Cu Rice Noodle Craft”.
Ba Bun Worship Ceremony takes place over two days, March 9 and 10, featuring a range of activities, including a cross-country marathon, a culinary festival and exhibitions of local agricultural products, bai choi game, Ba Bun worship ritual, and a boat race on the Bo River.
