The exhibition showcased documents, photos and artifacts depicting the city’s history, culture, economy and society. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director Nguyen Van Manh kindly stated that the announcement and introduction of documents hold a special meaning. Each document and photo is an evidence of not only the past, but also sustainable development and reliable source of scientific research, policy making and community education. The announcement of these documents is an important step demonstrating Hue city’s transparency, openness and commitment to maintaining and spreading heritage values to today and future generations.
The exhibition featured hundreds of documents, photos and artifacts which are well selected from archives, museums and private collections. They offer audiences an overview of the history, cultural identity and achievements of Hue city.
