Specifically, due to the flooding situation in recent days, which has affected preparation and organization work, and to ensure the safety of participating units, the organizing committee of the International Tea Festival - Hue 2025 has decided to postpone the event to December 10 - 12, instead of the originally scheduled dates of October 31 - November 2.
According to a representative from the Department of Tourism, functional agency forecasts that the situation of rain and typhoons will remain complicated in November. Therefore, the postponement of the event to December ensures thorough preparation and safety for participating domestic and international delegations and units.
The International Tea Festival - Hue 2025 will feature many special activities, including Tea culture seminar – exchange, International Tea exhibition, Teatender - modern tea brewing contest, and many other interesting activities; with the participation of artisans, tea houses, and brands from Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.
Also, according to the representative of the Department of Tourism, due to the flooding situation in recent days, there are about 3,000 international visitors staying in Hue City. Given the flood situation, the tourism sector, in coordination with units and businesses, has assisted some visitors in reaching Phu Bai International Airport in time for their flights. Additionally, the units are flexibly providing support to visitors, as well as ensuring food and supplies for them.
