On the afternoon of June 16, 2023, at the Long-covered Corridor of Hue Imperial City, the exhibition “Royal Performance Heritage and Painting Inspiration” is officially inaugurated, introducing over 60 paintings of different material styles. This is the achievement of the “Aesthetics and Heritages” Camp theming “Hue Royal Performance in Painting” co-organized between Hue Monuments Conservation Centre and Hue College of Arts-Hue University previously.

Hue Cultural Heritage is a diversified complex with different types, in which the royal cultural heritage plays the main role. The Complex of Hue Monuments, Nhac nhac-Vietnamese Court Music, the Literature on Hue Royal Architecture, Chauban-the royal record of Nguyen Dynasty, and Mocban-Woodblock of Nguyen Dynasty, the five typical Hue heritages acknowledged by UNESCO has been nice inspirations in raising artists’ inspiration. Therefore, the “Aesthetics and Heritages” Camp becomes the chance for artists to create as well as develop their works concerning heritage and preservation.

More than 60 paintings of different material styles in this exhibition are also selected to be printed in the “Hue Royal Performance in Painting” Anthology in welcoming the celebration of 30th anniversary of the Complex of Hue Monuments (1993-2023) and the 20th anniversary of Nha nhac-Vietnamese Court Music (2003-2023) acknowledged as the World Heritages by UNESCO.
At the exhibition, the Organizing Committee awarded 10 authors (including 05 Equal-class authors for teacher awards and 05 Equal-class authors for student awards) with the best works, including: Authors: Dang Mau Triet, Phan Quang Tan, Le Nguyen Dang Doan, Nguyen Van Sy, Nguyen Y Nhi, Nguyen Thai Toan, Truong Cong Duc, Nguyen Xuan Trong, Nguyen Dinh Hanh, Tran Thi Thu Huyen.
