Hue Festival Offers a Feast of 100 Vegetarian Dishes

On May 28 and 29 (corresponding to the 12th and 13th days of the Lunar April), Nguyen Dinh Chieu Pedestrian Street will be transformed into a large-scale and distinctive vegetarian culinary space for the Vegetarian Food Festival - Hue Festival 2026.
This year’s festival brings together 56 booths featuring over 100 diverse vegetarian dishes that are carefully and elaborately prepared

The cultural and community event will be one of the highlights of the celebrations for the 2570th Buddhist Era Vesak and Hue Festival 2026, jointly organized by the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City and the Hue Festival 2026 Organizing Committee.

The event will officially open at 16:00 on May 28.

This year’s festival brings together 56 booths featuring over 100 diverse vegetarian dishes, meticulously and elaborately prepared by renowned culinary artisans and chefs from both within and outside the city. The event is expected to welcome and serve over 5,000 visitors.

The organizing committee will allocate all sponsorship funding and proceeds contributed through the program to charitable and social welfare activities, including livelihood support for disadvantaged individuals, underprivileged students with strong academic performance, and vulnerable groups in the locality.
