  • Thua Thien Hue under Tran Dynasty (1306 - 1400)
    In 1306, Che Man emperor used two land Chau O, Chau Ly as an offering to marry Princess Huyen Tran (Tran dynasty), a strip of land from the south bank of the Thach Han river to the north bank of the Thu Bon river joined the territory of Dai Viet. In 1307, the Tran Dynasty changed the name of Chau O Thanh to Chau Thuan, Chau Ly to Chau Hoa.

    After defeating the Ming invaders, King Le Thai To (Le Loi) sent important mandarins to the town of Thuan Hoa, organized to stabilize people's lives, increase immigration, reclaim and restore villages, and established new villages. The situation of Thuan Hoa was basically stable, but was still harassed by the Champa army. Since the death of King Le Thai To (1434), Champa's army repeatedly attacked Chau Hoa, in 1446 King Le Nhan Tong sent a large army to actively attack Champa in order to keep the land in peace.

In particular, relics such as stone axes and pottery found in Phu O and Bau Dung (Huong Chu, Huong Tra) date from about 4,000 years ago.
