On November 30, the National Assembly issued Resolution No. 175/2024/QH15 on the establishment of Hue City as a centrally governed municipality (Resolution 175). Concurrently, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly (SCNA) promulgated Resolution No. 1314/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district- and commune-level administrative units in Hue City for the period 2023-2025 (Resolution 1314). Both resolutions take effect on January 1, 2025.

On the morning of November 22, in Hue City, Hue College, in collaboration with Malang State University (Indonesia), the University of Hyderabad (India), Mahasarakham University (Thailand), the Institute of Cultural Anthropology (Hanoi), and the Institute of Northeast Arts and Culture Studies (Thailand), organized the 7th International Conference on Language, Society, and Culture in Asian Contexts (LSCAC 2024). The conference, themed "Language, Society, and Culture in the Asian Context in the Digital Age," attracted a wide range of participants.

On October 25th, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue issued updated warnings for areas across the province vulnerable to flash floods and landslides, particularly in mountainous regions, along transportation routes, and erosion in river and coastal areas.
