On President Ho Chi Minh's 133rd birth anniversary (May 19th, 1890 - May 19th, 2023), a flower-offering ceremony was solemnly organized at Ho Chi Minh Museum by the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province and Hue city on May 19th, 2023. The member of the Central Executive Committee, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council and head of the National Assembly delegation of Thua Thien Hue province Le Truong Luu; the Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; the standing member of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Nam Tien; the standing member of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Hue city’s Party Committee Phan Thien Dinh, members of the provincial Party Committee, leaders of Hue city, relevant departments and agencies attended the ceremony.
Standing in front of Uncle Ho's statue, leaders offered flowers and spent one minute of silence to recall President Ho Chi Minh's merits in national liberation, bringing a peaceful and wealthy life to today's generations. Following Uncle Ho's last words, the Party Committee and people of Thua Thien Hue province have unceasingly learned and followed Uncle Ho's example; stayed united to overcome difficulties; determined and creatively applied new innovative paths of the Party in accordance with local conditions and gained some important results.
After the flower-offering ceremony, leaders attended an exhibition organized at Thua Thien Hue Ho Chi Minh Museum.
Under the theme “Nhat ky trong tu - bao vat quoc gia” (prison diary - a national treasure), the exhibition introduced over 180 documents, photos, and artifacts. They were divided into three topics Ho Chi Minh - a great personality, prison diary - a national treasure, and prison diary - spreading ideological and humanitarian values.
The exhibition focused on the portrait of Ho Chi Minh, its origin, the copy of 53 pages - 133 poems, and pieces of handwriting in “Nhat ky trong tu”. Composed 80 years ago, “Nhat ky trong tu” has always inspired researchers and artists in Vietnam and around the world.
