Due to health reasons, researcher Phan Thuan An was unable to attend. However, the event was held in a warm and moving atmosphere. Many renowned researchers of his generation, as well as contemporary researchers and those passionate about Hue’s culture, were present to celebrate the “spiritual child” of researcher Phan Thuan An.

The three-volume series compiles more than 100 selected articles from hundreds of articles and research papers by the author, which were published in newspapers, journals, and academic conferences from 1980 to the present.

According to Dr. Phan Thuan Thao, the researcher’s eldest daughter, all of his works are approached from a historical perspective. Therefore, even when addressing topics related to culture or folktales, the subjects are consistently examined through a historical lens.

During the event, many researchers and colleagues who had worked with or interacted with researcher Phan Thuan An described him as a dedicated, rigorous, and deeply committed researcher. The series is considered a monumental research work, serving as both a valuable documentary resource and a significant academic contribution.
