Thai Hoa palace and Kien Trung palace undergoing improvements day by day to welcome Lunar New Year 2024

Hue has entered the early days of the lunar month of January, with the bustling atmosphere marking the last month of the year. Inside the Imperial City of Hue, at the iconic architectural structures of Thai Hoa Palace and Kien Trung Palace, artisans, experts, craftsmen, and the entire construction and restoration team are diligently working on the final touches of exterior decoration.

Thai Hoa Palace is currently in the renovation phase, with plans to complete it ahead of schedule by the year 2025. Kien Trung Palace, initiated in February 2019, is entering its final stages of completion. These two specific structures, along with all the heritage sites within the Complex of Hue Monuments, are being meticulously perfected in line with the overall plan of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center. The aim is to provide the public with the most comprehensive and immersive experience possible when visiting Hue during the Lunar New Year of 2024.
