In the context of rapid digital technology development, the way learners access information is undergoing many changes. However, books still maintain their foundational role in shaping mindset, fostering knowledge, and nurturing the soul. Delivering the opening speech, Ms. Dang Thi Quynh Lan – Vice Rector of the College, emphasized the role of reading culture in educational development strategy: "Organizing the Book Festival is not just a movement-based activity but also an affirmation that Hue College always prioritizes building a lifelong learning environment."

Accordingly, a clear message was spread: "Books are the keys to the doors of success and creativity; reading is a sustainable investment that brings intellectual value to every individual." Hue College has been implementing synchronized solutions such as developing a digital library, boosting communication about reading culture on digital platforms, and organizing experiential activities to bring books closer to students.

Overview of the event

Modern and Inspiring Reading Space

The highlight of this year's program is the investment in constructing an open, modern, and user-friendly library space. The book display area is scientifically arranged, creating convenience in searching for and accessing documents while providing a comfortable and intimate reading experience.

Hundreds of book titles in various fields such as specialized majors, soft skills, economics, culture, and society... were introduced, helping learners not only expand their knowledge but also gain clear orientation for their studies and career development. The diversification of document sources also demonstrates the College's proactivity in meeting the increasing learning needs of students.

Notably, the library space was also designed to become a creative "check-in" spot with youthful and modern colors. This is not only a new approach to attract students to books but also contributes to changing the perception of the library—from a document storage facility into an open, inspiring learning space that connects the community.

Exciting Experiential Activities Spreading Reading Culture

Beside the display space, the series of experiential activities created a great attraction for participants. Most prominent was the "Wise Reader!" competition, organized as an interactive format with diverse questions revolving around book knowledge and life. The contest was not only entertaining but also contributed to enhancing knowledge, training quick thinking, and critical thinking skills for learners.

At the same time, the video contest "On Air with Books" left many impressions with creative products that were meticulously invested in both content and form. Through video introductions, reviews, and book analyses, students expressed a fresh and closer perspective on reading culture, while effectively utilizing digital platforms to spread the value of books to the community.

The College representative also expressed hope that after the event, each student would choose at least one suitable book to accompany them on their journey of learning and personal development, thereby forming a long-term and sustainable reading habit.

Through this series of activities, Hue College continues to affirm its role in building a proactive and creative learning environment, while strengthening connections with agencies and units in developing a sustainable reading culture. This is not merely a promotional activity but a specific step toward improving educational quality, aiming to build a young generation rich in knowledge, mindset, and adaptability to the times.
