Dragon Dance, and Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade 2024
The Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, and Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade in Hue City are part of the activities celebrating the 2024 Hue Festival - Four Seasons Festival. This event will take place during the Mid-Autumn Festival, featuring a grand Lion and Dragon Dance procession and lantern parade through the main streets of Hue. The festival aims to promote the image of Hue's friendly and hospitable people to both domestic and international visitors. It also provides a meaningful platform for the youth and local residents to preserve and celebrate traditional cultural and athletic values. Additionally, it fosters cultural and athletic exchanges among clubs, teams, artisans, and students in the area.
The festival will be held over two days, involving students from 15 secondary schools in Hue City, 4 martial arts clubs, several hip-hop and dance clubs, and 10 Lion and Dragon Dance troupes from Thua Thien Hue province. The event promises spectacular performances of lion and dragon dances, as well as martial arts demonstrations, entertaining both residents and tourists in Hue during this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival.

Day 1: Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade

Day 2: Lion and Dragon Dance Performances

- Program: Lion and Dragon Dance performances, martial arts displays, and lantern parade.

- Starting and ending point: Thuong Bac Park, Tran Hung Dao Street.
- Vehicle assembly point: No. 65 Tran Hung Dao Street.
- Parade Route:
- Thuong Bac Park – Tran Hung Dao Street – over Truong Tien Bridge – Le Loi Street – over Phu Xuan Bridge – Thuong Bac Park (2.1 km).
