Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2026
Taking place from July 3 to July 10, 2026, as part of the Hue Festival 2026, Hue Ao Dai Week will offer a series of rich cultural and artistic activities. Organized at various locations across the city, the event creates a diverse experiential space for locals and tourists alike. The event aims to effectively leverage the unique cultural values of the Hue Ao Dai, building a tourism image associated with this traditional attire, while promoting the brand "Hue - The Capital of Ao Dai" to stimulate local tourism development.
Highlight Activities
July 3, 2026:

Morning: The program "Ao Dai Connecting Tourism and Heritage" will kick off at the Quoc Tu Giam (Imperial Academy) area, featuring an Ao Dai parade through central streets to honor the beauty of traditional costumes within the heritage space.

Evening: The opening art program themed "The Flow of Hue Ao Dai" will take place along the Huong (Perfume) River, bringing together numerous artists and models to reenact the historical evolution of the Ao Dai.
July 4, 2026:

A flower and incense offering ceremony will be held at the Mausoleum of Lord Vo Vuong Nguyen Phuc Khoat – the figure credited with defining the traditional Ao Dai; this will be combined with parade activities to pay tribute to the ancestors.

The day’s highlight is the grand performance "Convergence of Vietnamese Spirit - The Walk of a Hundred Flowers," featuring more than 1,500 participants in traditional costumes.
July 5, 2026:

Community activities such as the "Ao Dai through the Streets" cycling event and the program "Hue Ao Dai - The Fragrance of Thanh Tra Pomelo" will be organized to spread a green lifestyle, connect the Ao Dai with contemporary life, and promote local tourism.
From July 6 to July 10, 2026: A series of thematic activities, including contests, exhibitions, performances, and experiential spaces, will take place:
