In recent times, VietPM has also held important meetings with the leadership of Hue City People's Committee, signing agreements with relevant units such as the Department of Tourism to jointly build sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism infrastructure for Hue, and with Hue College to develop smart mobility technical education and research. Additionally, VietPM has cooperated with the Hue Monuments Conservation Center to pilot the use of GCOO e-bikes at Gia Long’s Tomb and the Imperial City, aiming to build a sustainable and eco-friendly transportation system within Hue's heritage sites.
Sharing details about the GCOO e-bike experience project, Mr. Kim Tae Ho, General Director of VietPM, stated that after the pilot phase (March 14 - April 30, 2025) for government agencies, the project will be officially launched in mid-May 2025, serving within the Hue Imperial City. VietPM will provide up to 100 GCOO e-bikes to offer Hue residents the opportunity to experience smart and eco-friendly transportation for free. All Hue residents can use the bikes free of charge upon presenting identification documents proving their place of birth or residential address in Hue. Each person is entitled to a maximum of one free hour per day. For domestic and international tourists, the service will be available for a paid hourly rate, with tickets purchased in cash.

With its prime location at 06 Lê Lợi, HueCIT’s building not only serves as a workplace for numerous IT enterprises but also connects to Hue’s renowned cultural and tourist attractions such as Hue Railway Station, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Hue Children's House, Quoc Hoc High School, and the War Memorial (Quoc Hoc Stele). The addition of a GCOO e-bike station on the southern bank of the Perfume River at this central location will allow HueCIT staff and workers to experience an environmentally friendly transportation service, contributing to the city’s green, clean, and smart development.

As part of its collaboration with HueCIT, VietPM is also strengthening communication efforts by promoting the project on the Khám phá Huế website (https://khamphahue.com.vn/). Established over 16 years ago, Khám phá Huế has long been a go-to platform for comprehensive and in-depth information about Hue for both residents and visitors. VietPM’s choice to leverage Khám phá Huế for its media outreach demonstrates its commitment to cooperation in spreading information and promoting city-wide benefits effectively.

Mr. Lê Vĩnh Chiến, Director of HueCIT, emphasized that HueCIT is always willing to connect and support businesses in promoting useful services for the community and society, especially IT-driven and eco-friendly solutions. This initiative aligns with Hue City’s efforts to preserve and enhance its titles such as ASEAN Clean Tourism City and Green City, contributing to sustainable and eco-conscious development.
