As a key event within the framework of Hue Festival 2026, Hue International Music Week brings together 8 traditional and contemporary art troupes from Vietnam, France, Spain, Australia, Japan, and South Korea. With 15 performances organized throughout the program, the event offers the public diverse artistic experiences, ranging from traditional music genres to contemporary global performance trends.
Choosing the Huong River waterfront stage in front of Quoc Hoc Hue High School as the venue demonstrates the orientation towards building an open, community-oriented cultural gathering spot for residents and tourists. This is also an occasion where traditional cultural values are connected with contemporary art in a creative and intimate space.
After the opening ceremony, the special art program featuring domestic and international art troupes began. The Hue royal court art performances blended harmoniously with pieces from traditional Korean dance materials combined with contemporary expressive language, creating an emotional and impressive artistic space.
In addition, artists from Chungnam Province (South Korea) brought performances deeply imbued with cultural identity, featuring Samulnori percussion art, traditional folk songs, Pansori, youthful, vibrant K-Pop melodies. Japanese female singer Kawanishi Natsuki also left a good impression on visitors with her gentle, soulful ballad and pop songs.

Special art programs in an international-scale cultural exchange space
