The event attracted KOICA volunteers, Hue Tourism College, Hue University of Foreign Languages, clubs and teams across the province.
Children were instructed how to make traditional dishes by Hue artisans. KOICA volunteers also introduced them South Korean food such as Tteokguk, Kimchi, South Korean sugar candy, etc.
Besides, there were spaces to experience Thanh Tien paper flower, Sinh village’s drawing, calligraphy, traditional South Korean lantern, Hanbok paper folding, etc. Visitors were excited about taking photo in traditional costumes of the two countries.
The organizer representative expected that children would understand and love traditional customs. Then, they would further promote the tradition in Vietnamese Tet holiday. It is also a chance for youth to access and learn more about South Korean culture.
