Famous culinary artisans such as Mai Thi Tra, Nguyen Van Tich, Tran Thi Loan will introduce Hue distinctive dishes namely “com muoi” (rice served with different kinds of salt), “bun Van Cu” (Van Cu rice noodle soup), “bun bo Hue” (Hue beef noodle soup) and so on. Skillful chefs from Lam Dong province, Dong Nai province, Dak Nong province, Da Nang city, Quang Ninh province, Quang Binh province, etc will bring visitors well-known specialties such as “cha tmuc” (squid paste), “bun atiso” (artichoke rice noodle), “banh phong chien” (fried sticky rice), “banh it” (sticky rice dumpling), etc. Besides, visitors have an opportunity to taste other unique dishes from Nam Dong (Phu Loc district today), A Luoi district, local well-known hotels and restaurants.
In addition to nearly 70 stalls where dishes are cooked, introduced and displayed, there are art performances, games, 3D cuisine display using AR & Hologram-technology, Maggi brand’s multi flavor space, etc. At the opening ceremony on April 29, 2025, Tourism Department will introduce Hue - the Culinary Capital identifier set.
