This year, "S-Race 2024" will be held at three locations: Hue City, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi. The first event of "S-Race 2024" will take place at Ngọ Môn Square, Huế City, on March 9 and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.

The competition is divided into three age groups: middle school students (11 to 14 years old), high school students (15 to 17 years old), and college/university students (18 to 23 years old).

"S-Race 2024" in Thừa Thiên Huế province is expected to have around 4,800 participants, including 1,200 middle school students, 1,200 high school students, 600 teachers, and students in grades 6 and 7, 600 primary school students and parents, and 1,200 college/university students.

Participants will compete in various categories, including a 3km race for male college and high school students, a 1.5km race for male middle school students, female college and high school students, and female middle school students.

Additional events include S-Race Family (for primary school students, 6th and 7th-grade students, and families) and S-Race Teacher (for teachers and 6th and 7th-grade students) with a 1km race.

Parallel to the direct competition, the Organizing Committee will also organize two online events, S-Race Online, for diverse participants: students, teachers, parents, etc., simultaneously held in all 63 provinces and cities nationwide. Each challenge will run for 30 days through the UpRace application.

"S-Race 2024" promises to bring positive values to students, encourage them to participate in sports training, strengthen family bonds, and foster community engagement in the physical development activities of the young generation in Vietnam.
