Quan The Am Festival 2025 in Hue

Location: Quan The Am Buddhist Spiritual Tourism Center, Tu Tuong Mountain, Thuy Bang Commune, Hue City

The Quan The Am Festival 2025, held in the Year of the Snake (PL.2569 - AD.2025), will be solemnly organized by the Hue City Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee over two days, July 12–13, 2025, at the Quan The Am Buddhist Spiritual Tourism Center on Tu Tuong Mountain, Thuy Bang Commune, Hue City. This festival features traditional Buddhist rituals and meaningful activities, praying for the glory of the nation, the enduring prosperity of Buddhism, world peace, and the well-being of all beings.

Event Schedule for Quan The Am Festival 2025

Saturday, July 12, 2025 (18th Day of the 6th Lunar Month)

• 7:00 AM: Buddha Invocation Ceremony to Open the Festival

• 3:00 PM: Opening of the Exhibition

• 4:00 PM: Opening Ceremony of the Buddhist Family Female Youth Camp

• 6:30 PM: Candlelight Offering Ceremony and Release of Floating Lanterns

• 7:30 PM: Dharma Talk

• 8:30 PM: Cultural Performance

Sunday, July 13, 2025 (19th Day of the 6th Lunar Month)

• 6:00 AM: Recitation of the Universal Gate Sutra (by Nuns)

• 8:00 AM: Main Ceremony (separate program)

• 10:00 AM: Noon Offering and Prayer for Peace

• 2:00 PM: Five Hundred Names Worship Ceremony

• 4:00 PM: Chanting for the Deceased

• Closing: Gratitude to the Buddha and Completion of Sutra Recitation
