NEW YEAR’S ART PROGRAM 2025 – YEAR OF THE SNAKE

⏰ Time: From 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, January 28, 2025 (corresponding to December 29, Year of the Dragon)
🎯 Venue: In front of Quoc Hoc High School, Le Loi Street, Hue City

As an annual event to welcome the New Year, the New Year’s Art Program 2025 – Year of the Snake will take place on the evening of January 28, 2025, at the space in front of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Le Loi Street, Hue City.

CELEBRATIONS FOR THE 95TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF VIETNAM

To mark the 95th Anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2025) and celebrate the Lunar New Year, Thuan Hoa District and Phu Xuan District will host various cultural, artistic, and sports activities to provide entertainment for residents and tourists before, during, and after the traditional Tet holiday.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Spring Flower Market:
  Held from January 19 to January 28, 2025 (20th to 29th of the 12th lunar month), at Phu Xuan Park.

• Spring Festival 2025 – Theme: "Cultural Essence, Breakthrough Growth":
  Takes place from January 23 to February 3, 2025 (24th of the 12th lunar month to 6th of the 1st lunar month), at both sides of the Perfume River, with the main venue located at the southern bank, from Ly Tu Trong Park to February 3rd Park.

• Comprehensive Music Program:
  Theme: "Welcoming the New Spring – 2025"
  Time: 7:30 PM, January 29, 2025 (1st Day of Tet)
  Venue: Thuong Bac Park

• Lion, Dragon, and Drum Performances:
  Hosted by Thai Nghi Duong Lion Dance Troupe.
  Time: 7:00 PM, January 31, 2025 (3rd Day of Tet)
  Venue: Cultural and Information Center, 65 Tran Hung Dao Street.

• Hue Culinary Space:
  Organized from January 27 to February 1, 2025 (28th of the 12th lunar month to 4th of the 1st lunar month)
  Venue: 65 Tran Hung Dao Street.

• Traditional Martial Arts Performances:
  Time: 3:00 PM, January 30, 2025 (2nd Day of Tet)
  Venue: Thuong Bac Park

• Bài Chòi Traditional Game:
  Time: 3:00 PM, January 31 and February 1, 2025 (3rd and 4th Days of Tet)
  Venue: Thuong Bac Park

FESTIVE SPIRIT AND SIGNIFICANCE

Cultural and sports activities in Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa Districts aim to create a festive atmosphere where residents and visitors can enjoy Tet celebrations while honoring the 95th anniversary of the Party’s establishment. The events foster a sense of unity and joy, marking Hue's elevation to a centrally governed city in 2025, ushering in a year full of promise and success.
