OFF-ROAD CAR RACING - CONQUER THE CHALLENGE - VICTORY CHALLENGE SAILUN CUP 2024
From June 21 to June 23, 2024, Thua Thien Hue will host the Off-Road Car Racing - Conquer the Challenge - Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2024. The race is organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Thua Thien Hue Province, Southeast Asia Magazine, and Ky Nguyen Group Joint Stock Company.
This off-road car race is designed for the community of off-road car enthusiasts in Vietnam. It aims to enhance the understanding of safe driving techniques for the off-road vehicle community in particular and car drivers in general. The event also provides entertainment and a unique experience for participants, creating a distinctive cultural exchange space that brings together a diverse range of car models and brands from both domestic and international manufacturers.
The challenging terrain at Ho Thuy Tien Park poses a significant test for the racers.
So far, 86 teams from across the country have registered to compete, showcasing a diverse range of car models and brands. The race is divided into six categories: Basic Pickup, Upgraded SUV, Upgraded Pickup, Expanded - Professional, Original SUV, and Camping Cars.
On the morning of Friday, June 21, the race will kick off at Nghinh Luong Dinh, after which the teams will move to the competition venue at Ho Thuy Tien Park (address: Thuy Bang Commune, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province).

Thursday, June 20, 2024:
- 3:00 PM: Display of race cars by athletes at Nghinh Luong Dinh.
Friday, June 21, 2024:
- 7:00 AM: Opening ceremony at Nghinh Luong Dinh.
- 8:00 AM: Parade (Route: Nghinh Luong Dinh – Le Duan – right turn at Phu Xuan Bridge – right turn at Le Loi – left turn at Phan Chu Trinh – right turn at Dien Bien Phu – right turn at Le Ngo Cat – left turn at Minh Mang – Khai Dinh – Ho Thuy Tien Park).
- 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM: Competition for all categories.
Saturday, June 22, 2024:
- 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM: Competition for all categories.
Sunday, June 23, 2024:
- 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM: Competition for all categories.
- 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM: Closing ceremony, Awards presentation, and Gala dinner.
