📣 Launch of Hue Ao Dai Week 2023 📣

✨ Continuing the success of Hue Ao Dai Community Week in 2022, on the morning of July 6, 2023, at Nghinh Luong Dinh, the city of Hue, the Department of Culture and Sports of Thua Thien Hue province organized the Launch Ceremony of Hue Ao Dai Week 2023. Specifically, Hue Ao Dai Week 2023 will take place from July 6th to July 12th, 2023, with the aim of promoting the strengths, brand, and unique cultural value of Hue Ao Dai, building the image of Hue tourism associated with Ao Dai, honoring Hue Ao Dai and Vietnamese Ao Dai, affirming the brand "Hue - The Capital of Ao Dai," and contributing to the promotion and development of Hue's culture and tourism.

Right after the Launch Ceremony, there will be a parade of bicycles accompanied by banners of Hue Ao Dai Week 2023 to encourage officials, civil servants, and the community to participate. Within the framework of Hue Ao Dai Week 2023, there will be various remarkable activities, including:

🔷 Paying tribute to Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat

Organizing a pilgrimage and offering incense and flowers to Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat at Truong Thai Mausoleum, Hue City, at 6:00 AM on July 7, 2023. The procession will then move from 23/8 Street (corner of Le Huan Street) to Dai Noi to attend the gratitude ceremony, offering flowers and incense at Trieu To Temple at 7:30 AM on the same day.

🔷 Community activities with the theme "Ao Dai and Performing Spaces"

Setting up exhibition spaces and showcasing the art of making Ao Dai and traditional Hue conical hats from July 7th to July 12th, 2023. There will be an artistic program titled "Ao Dai and Folk Culture of the Northern Region" and a panel discussion with the theme "Ao Dai and the Youth" for students, aiming to inspire and guide the younger generation at 4:00 PM on July 7, 2023, at Quoc Tu Giam - Hue City. The "Hue Ao Dai" knowledge competition will take place at 4:00 PM on July 8, 2023, at Quoc Tu Giam - Hue City. The program "Ao Dai and Heritage" will be held at 4:00 PM on July 11, 2023, at Quoc Tu Giam - Hue City.

🔷 Community activities with the theme "Ao Dai and Daily Life"

Hosting an exhibition of "Ao Dai on Postal Stamps" at 4:00 PM on July 6, 2023, at 3/2 Park - Hue City. Organizing various experiential activities and demonstrations to recreate the traditional lifestyle of the people in Ao Dai costumes at 5:00 PM on July 10, 2023, at Lim Wooden Bridge, Pham Hong Thai Street, Ly Tu Trong Park.

🔷 Workshop on the topic "The Development Direction of Hue Ao Dai in Contemporary Life"

Taking place at 2:00 PM on July 9, 2023, at the Department of Culture and Sports. The workshop will include reputable experts, researchers, designers, and artisans proposing solutions and directions for the development of Hue Ao Dai in contemporary life.
