The Hue Lotus Festival 2024 aims to honor the value of the lotus in the spiritual life of the people of Hue. It provides an opportunity for artisans to showcase their culinary skills and techniques while allowing tourists and locals to experience and appreciate the hidden and present values of the lotus in everyday life.
The Hue Lotus Festival 2024 will feature activities at various booths, including culinary booths, displays of local specialties, handicraft souvenirs related to the lotus, exhibitions of Hue lotus varieties, traditional games, and check-in spaces with lotus flowers. Interspersed with these activities will be art performances, including the Ao Dai show "Spirit of the Royal Lotus." Visitors can also enjoy Hue lotus cuisine through demonstrations and workshops on making "Vegetarian Lotus Rice" and "Lotus Seed and Longan Sweet Soup" by artisans. Additionally, there will be activities for brewing and tasting lotus tea at various booths.

This is the 4th time the Hue Lotus Festival has been organized, continuing to affirm and honor the Hue lotus – a flower that is very characteristic of Vietnam in general and the ancient capital of Hue in particular. The festival aims to promote the image of the lotus, along with various products and cuisine made from Hue lotus, to a wide range of domestic and international tourists during the summer tourism season of 2024.
The “Hue Lotus Festival” is envisioned to become an annual event of the tourism industry within the framework of the Hue Festival in the coming years. It will be a unique activity that links tourism with Hue’s culinary culture and local agriculture.
