MOON FESTIVAL ROYAL PALACE HUE 2025 PROGRAM
Hue Monuments Conservation Center is pleased to announce the Moon Festival Royal Palace Hue 2025, an event within the framework of the Hue Festival 2025.
The program includes distinctive Mid-Autumn Festival activities with a variety of engaging events such as lantern exhibitions, lantern processions, lion dances, and traditional games.
Time and Location
- Time: From October 4 to October 7, 2025 (corresponding to the 13th – 16th day of the 8th lunar month).
- Location: Phu Noi Vu, Imperial City of Hue, and various streets in Hue City.
Main Activities
- Lion, Unicorn, and Dragon Performance and Mid-Autumn Lantern Procession
- Time: 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM, October 4, 2025 (13th day of the 8th lunar month).
- Location: Various streets within Hue City.
- Route: Nghinh Luong Dinh – Tran Hung Dao – Gia Hoi Bridge – Trinh Cong Son Park.
- Performance Stops:
- Truong Tien Bridge – Phuong Nam Bookstore.
- Intersection of Tran Hung Dao – Huynh Thuc Khang – Phan Dang Luu.
- Participants: Lion, Unicorn, and Dragon troupes, students from junior high schools in Phu Xuan ward, and artists from the Hue Royal Palace Traditional Art Theater.
- Lantern Exhibition and Arrangement Space
- Time: 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM, October 6 and 7, 2025 (15th – 16th day of the 8th lunar month).
- Location: Phu Noi Vu, Imperial City of Hue.
- Content: Exhibition of characteristic Hue lanterns, including Bao La bamboo and rattan lanterns, CAN Studio folding lanterns, and traditional lanterns by artisans from Gifu Prefecture (Japan). Combined with court games such as Dau Ho, Bai Vu, Xam Huong, and calligraphy writing to create an experiential space for residents and tourists.
- Moonlit Night Royal Palace Program
- Time: 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM, October 6 and 7, 2025 (15th – 16th day of the 8th lunar month).
- Location: Stage behind Phu Noi Vu, Imperial City of Hue.

Notes:
- All activities in the program are free of charge.
- Guest reception time: From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Car guests should enter via Hoa Binh Gate.
- Pedestrian and motorbike guests should enter via Hien Nhon Gate.
