Hue International Music Week 2023 is the highlight in serial events within the framework of winter festival 2023. It also marks the end of the four-season festival 2023. Under the theme “Giai dieu bon mua” (the four season melody), Hue International Music Week 2023 will be held at the Noon Square from December 8 to December 12, 2023. The event aims to develop local tourism, create a creative - unique - improvised - humanitarian contemporary music space; bring artists a chance to exchange and learn lessons; introduce culture and music of the heritage city; enhance the position and the impact of Hue royal music, Vietnamese contemporary music; introduce Thua Thien Hue and its people; transfer humanitarian values and messages along with global issues such as environment, peace and friendship. With “Hue - Ban hoa tau cua thien nhien - Phat trien ben vung” (Hue - the symphony of nature - sustainable development) message, the program begins with a music night on December 8, 2023. On the following nights, there are colorful programs performed by artists from the USA, France, Wallonie - Bruxelles (Belgium), Grand Poitiers (France), South Korea, Vietnam, etc.

Along with Hue International Music Week 2023, Hue by Light - The live show will be organized at Hue Citadel on December 12, 2023. It also marks the end of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - France diplomatic relations. This event focuses on four seasons, Art Nouveau associated with Vietnamese traditional oil painting art, Art Deco, minimalism with dragons, phoenixes and plants symbolizing Hue culture. At Hue by Light - The live show, visitors will enjoy electronic music performed by famous musicians, singers, and composers from Sébastien Tellier and Limebócx music band.
In addition to invitation tickets, Hue by Light - The live show will welcome about 10.000 inhabitants and visitors.
