Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Vice Chairman of Hue City’s People’s Committee, the deputy permanent head of Hue Traditional Crafts Festival 2023 Truong Dinh Hanh kindly informed that the festival was held from April 28 to May 5, 2023 under the theme “Tinh hoa nghe Viet” (the quintessence of Hue Crafts). The event was successfully held, obtained achievements and left an impression on the public, visitors, television audiences and international friends. Everything brought Hue a new look and an exciting festive atmosphere.
Impressive points of Hue Traditional Crafts Festival 2023 would be the dramatic increase in the number of domestic and international visitors coming to Hue, over VND 20,5 billion received from sales and orders at “Tinh hoa nghe bun” gastronomy festival, 04 national records set and the positive response of Hue locals.
Vice Chairman of Hue City’s People’s Committee Truong Dinh Hanh affirmed that this year's festival has spread the interest and pride of Hue locals. Through this event, the organizer introduced Hue traditional crafts, Hue people and its image to here and their friends, and visitors, contributing to accelerating tourism and other fields. The event is making its way to international scope as well-known craft villages from countries across the world attended the festival.
Hue Traditional Crafts Festival 2023 attracted a large number of domestic and international visitors. In addition to the gastronomy festival themed “the quintessence of rice noodle making craft” which was held for the first time, other activities, for example, the street parade, a festival paying tribute to the Huong river, workshops, talk show, exhibitions, culture-art exchange programs between cities around the world, music nights, Flashmob festival, ect created a colorful Hue city on this special occasion. They are highly regarded by locals and visitors.
Provincial leader honors excellent units and artisans from domestic and international craft villages
Hue Traditional Crafts Festival 2023 brought together 21 main programs and activities which were held across the city center and adjacent areas such as Nguyen Dinh Chieu pedestrian street, craft village culture center, fine-arts Museum, Tu Tuong Park, Phan Boi Chau Park, and Thuong Bac Park, etc. Thousands turn off visitors who attended programs, experienced crafts, and shopped for products from 69 typical craft villages.
On this occasion, organizations and craftsmen made responsible contributions to maintaining and promoting the quintessence of Hue crafts. The Organizer honored excellent units and craftsmen from domestic and foreign craft villages. The certificate was given to unique products on display at Hue Traditional Crafts Festival 2023. Prizes within the vote for excellent products at Hue Traditional Crafts Festival 2023 were presented. The Organizer also presented flowers to sponsors who accompanied Hue Traditional Crafts Festival 2023.
