The mural village was once selected as a filming location for the reality TV show "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring Again".
The Ngu My Thanh Floating Market represents a distinctive cultural lifestyle of the lagoon dwellers. The market usually operates from 4:00 AM to 7:00 AM, when fishermen from Ngu My Thanh, Cu Lac, and neighboring villages return after a night of fishing on the lagoon. Fresh seafood such as goby fish, rabbitfish, tiger prawns, crabs, and eels are traded directly on the water, creating a bustling yet rustic and serene scene of Central Vietnam's fishing life.
