During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Do Lai Thuy, Director of the Institute of Cultural Anthropology (Vietnam), shared insights on the diversity within the unity of countries with a common prehistoric Southeast Asian culture. Over time, each nation has developed along its own unique trajectory and direction. In the context of globalization and digitalization, it is crucial and necessary for countries with shared research and academic interests to come together to seek a new form of unity.
Echoing this perspective, Mr. Thorm Gatewongsa, Director of the Institute of Northeast Culture and Arts, Mahasarakham University (Thailand), and Dr. Gatut Susanto, Director of the Center for Language and Cultural Studies of Indonesia, Malang National University (Indonesia), along with representatives from the organizing committee of LSCAC 2024, emphasized the importance of strengthening academic cooperation and research exchanges. They discussed clarifying the themes of the LSCAC conference, particularly the impact of the digital technology era and the crucial role of digital technology in fostering comprehensive social and cultural development for a sustainable Asia.

Representatives of the organizing committee shared their thoughts prior to the signing activity. Through discussions and consensus, the parties formalized agreements to promote and develop academic cooperation through diverse activities, including joint programs, exchanges of students, lecturers, and teaching materials, collaborative research in areas of mutual interest, and sponsorship or support for academic initiatives and programs.

Now in its seventh edition, the LSCAC conference has established itself as a prestigious international platform for researchers, educators, and leaders in science and education to engage in academic discussions, present valuable research findings, and introduce innovative scientific ideas and applications. These include advancements in digital technology, artificial intelligence, economics, politics, society, education, and tourism.
The LSCAC 2024 conference, held from November 22 to 24 in Hue City, is co-organized by Hue College (Vietnam), Malang National University (Indonesia), Hyderabad University (India), Mahasarakham University (Thailand), the Institute of Cultural Anthropology (Vietnam), and the Institute of Northeast Culture and Arts (Thailand). This event strengthens the collaborative ties between faculty members and scientists from institutions and research organizations both domestically and internationally. It aims to foster the development of science, provide a platform for sharing research findings, and support collaborations in scientific endeavors, such as faculty and student exchanges, publishing research on international forums, and enhancing partnerships among educational institutions in the region and globally.
