The "Huế - Welcome Summer 2024" event is part of the Hue Festival 2024 series of activities, aimed at bringing a lively and exciting atmosphere to welcome a captivating summer tourism season, while also creating a media buzz to attract tourists to Thua Thien Hue province during the summer season, with a focus on attracting visitors in the last months of the year. The event also contributes to promoting and publicizing the programs of the Hue Festival 2024, new tourism products, services, and promotional policies of local businesses to a large number of domestic and international tourists as well as travel agencies.
In this year's demand-stimulating program, Thua Thien Hue will focus on resort products, health care, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) combined with participation in activities, festivals, sports events in the Hue Festival, cultural heritage tourism experiences, art, rural areas, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls; introducing the Hue - Da Nang tourist train route "Connecting the Central Heritage" and associated service products, green tourism products, tours linked to traditional Ao Dai experiences and local cuisine.
"Huế - Welcome Summer 2024" will take place from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on April 19, 2024, at Hai Ba Trung Pedestrian Street. The event includes an artistic performance program and the announcement of the summer tourism season in Huế; bringing together 14 booths from tourism businesses in Thua Thien Hue, showcasing and introducing a variety of attractive tourism products to stimulate tourism for the summer of 2024. Visitors and locals attending will have the opportunity to:
- Explore tour packages, special combos, accommodation services, restaurants, and entrance tickets at discounted prices.
- Participate in lively entertainment activities such as lucky draws, mini-games, cultural exchanges, and performances.
