Hue Traditional Food Festival 2024

Theme: "Hue Cuisine with Four Directions"

Continuing the momentum of success achieved at the culinary festivals organized by Hue City during the Traditional Craft Festival of Hue from 2005 onwards, our goal remains steadfast. We are dedicated to honoring, preserving, and enhancing the cultural richness of Hue cuisine. Our efforts aim to not only create but also promote innovative and enticing tourism offerings that cater to both domestic and international visitors, thereby contributing significantly to positioning Thua Thien Hue as a prominent cultural and tourism hub within the country and the Southeast Asia region. As we look ahead to the period of 2021-2025 and beyond to 2030, our commitment is unwavering. We are focused on orchestrating the successful execution of the Hue Traditional Food Festival 2024 and associated culinary activities. Furthermore, we aspire to elevate Hue's status by securing its inclusion as one of the esteemed members of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the culinary creativity category by 2025.

There will be a total of 80 booths and festival spaces sponsored by various entities, including:

- Traditional Hue Cuisine: 20 booths
- Hue Cuisine with Four Directions: 20 booths
- Street Food: 10 booths
- Traditional Culinary Value Chain Products: 15 booths
- Festival spaces sponsored by other organizations: 2 areas and 15 booths.

Specifically:
- Local food and product booths (organized by districts and communes within Hue City)
- Hue Cuisine with Four Directions booths: Representing culinary offerings from the North, Central, and Southern regions (organized by restaurants, hotels, and culinary businesses within and outside the province)
- Booths promoting products of sponsors and tour packages in the province and Hue City (organized by the organizing committee and sponsors)
- Street and community art performances.

The space for Hue Cuisine with Four Directions is where the essence and uniqueness of culinary traditions from three regions converge, offering people and tourists a diverse array of dishes from the "S"-shaped land. This includes:

- Northern region: Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Hanoi
- Central region: Nghe An, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Dak Nong
- Southern region: Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City

Additionally, there will be a culinary space dedicated to the "Central Heritage Road" for the club of Vietnamese heritage artisans.
