To conclude the series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Vietnam, within the framework of the International Music Week 2023 in Hue, the French Embassy in Vietnam, the French Institute in Vietnam, and the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province are pleased to present HUE BY LIGHT - THE LIVE SHOW, a remarkable audio and light performance symbolizing cultural exchange between the two countries. Talented artists from France and Vietnam, Sébastien Tellier and Limebócx, will perform innovative musical pieces combining modern music and traditional Vietnamese instruments, accompanied by a unique 3D mapping light show produced by AC3 Studio.

The year 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the partnership between France and Vietnam, and also commemorates 30 years of the Complex of Hue Monuments and 20 years since Vietnamese Court Music was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage. The choice to organize HUE BY LIGHT - THE LIVE SHOW in the space of the Imperial City of Hue aims to honor the architectural heritage of the local city through an electronic music program combined with a light show (3D mapping).

Through collaboration between French and Vietnamese teams, the French team will oversee the artistic direction of the event, while the content and technical solutions will be developed in collaboration with Vietnamese partners. This collaborative spirit aims to create a spectacular, creative performance, combining modern music and traditional Vietnamese instruments, along with a suitable 3D mapping light show for the chosen venue.
