Through the diverse activities of “VY DA WELCOMES SUMMER 2026 - Water Summer Fest”, the People's Committee of Vy Da Ward aims to showcase an innovative, creative, and welcoming locality, alongside honoring the long-standing traditional cultural and heritage values of Hue.
Bearing the core message “Awakening the New Wave”, the program is designed to harmoniously integrate modern artistic activities, electronic music, light art, and water effects. It seeks to establish a healthy cultural exchange space for adolescents and the wider community, gradually forming a distinctive annual festival product that attracts domestic and international tourists to visit and experience the locality.
The program features a rich variety of activities taking place continuously throughout the two-day festival:
1. Creative 360-Degree Check-in Space
Visitors can capture memorable moments at artistic photobooths and a giant, surreal Earth model, creating stunning, festival-themed photographs.
2. Water Sports and Physical Challenges
An inflatable water park and interactive challenge stations will be set up to encourage physical activity. Participants can accumulate points to exchange for attractive gifts from the Organizing Committee.
3. Cultural and Culinary Experience Space
The festival features 30 culinary stalls showcasing Hue's local delicacies and products designed to promote regional tourism.
4. Street Hiphop Dance Exchange
The community stage will serve as a venue for dynamic Hiphop dance battles and performances, providing a healthy, connecting platform for the younger generation to share their passion.
5. EDM Concert and Water Effects (The Festival Climax)
As the highlight of the event—and a first in Hue—this segment perfectly blends modern electronic music (EDM, Pop, Hip-hop) with state-of-the-art light shows and maximum water effects, delivering a completely novel, multi-sensory experience.
