According to the plan, the night street along the Nhu Y River will be organized as an open, multi-layered experiential space, serving both residents and meeting the sightseeing and recreational needs of visitors. This area will not merely function as a nighttime commercial zone but also as a cultural and community space closely connected with Hue’s distinctive riverside landscape.
It is expected that the riverside area along the Nhu Y River will be flexibly arranged into multiple functional zones, including spaces for art, performances and food court, service and souvenir areas showcasing local products; land-based and water-based experiential activities featuring boat piers, floating stages and water-related programs; as well as pedestrian streets, check-in spots and community spaces for residents and visitors. This approach aims to create a continuous flow of night-time activities that is vibrant yet harmonious with the riverside landscape.

A key highlight of the plan is its socialization-oriented approach, which encourages the participation of businesses, household enterprises, and individuals through investment, leasing for operation, or the organization of service and cultural activities. Thuan Hoa Ward prioritizes creative and sustainable ideas that respect the riverside landscape while minimizing negative impacts on the environment and the surrounding community.
According to local leaders, the night street along the Nhu Y River is expected to become not only a tourism service area but also a living space, where art is integrated into everyday life, cuisine is closely linked with experience, and the riverside becomes a familiar daily gathering place. In the coming time, Thuan Hoa Ward will continue to gather feedbacks and work closely with interested organizations and individuals to gradually realize the plan, contributing to the diversification of Hue City’s night-time tourism products.
