At the working session, the representative of the Aeon Mall Hue Co., Ltd. provided an overview of the construction progress of the Aeon Mall shopping center project in Hue. The project has a total investment of more than VND 3,916 billion; an implementation area of about 8.62 hectares, with the progress of constructing and putting the project into operation before April 2025.

The construction started in February 2023; although facing certain difficulties, the contractor and construction unit have made efforts to overcome the them and strive to complete the entire project within 21 months in accordance with the commitment sooner than expected. Up to now, the entire project's progress has reached over 80 per cent of the construction plan; among them, a number of basic categories have been completed. At the same time, the construction progress was said to be speeded up, strived to complete the entire project volume by August 2024; and the project would officially be put into operation by mid-September 2024.

After inspecting the construction site, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong recognized and highly evaluated the implementation progress of the investor; at the same time, he affirmed that Aeon Mall is a key project, and the largest general trade and service shopping center in the Central region today. When being put into operation, it will contribute to the addition of commercial service institutions and social infrastructure in the area according to the approved planning, marking a new development step in attracting investment in the field of trade - service. Thereby, it will contribute to the diversification of shopping centers for goods and services of people in the province and visitors when coming to Hue City.
