With its potential and strength in tourism and distinctive cultural features, Thua Thien Hue has just been recommended by Travel+Leisure Travel Magazine (The US) as one of the must-visit destinations in Asia that travelers should not miss in their journeys in 2024.
International tourists learning about the relics in Hue

According to the experts of Travel+Leisure, Thua Thien Hue is an ideal destination to relax and review the past when traveling to Vietnam.

In the land of the Huong River and Ngu Mountain, visitors can visit Hue Imperial Citadel – the ancient capital of the Nguyen Dynasty and explore the royal tombs of the Kings and antique pagodas such as Thien Mu, Tu Dam, and Huyen Khong Son Thuong, etc.

The American travel magazine also suggests tourists experience dragon boats on the Huong River, contemplating the beauty of the two riverbanks, as well as listening to tunes of Hue-Singing.

Together with Thua Thien Hue, other attractions recommended by the Travel+Leisure include Palawan (Philippines), Takayama (Japan), Red Ocean (Saudi Arabia), Incheon (Korean), Pak Chong (Thailand), Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (China), Saint John Island (Singapore), Kratie (Cambodia), Cameron Highlands (Malaysia), Mirissa (Sri Lanka), Meghalaya (India), Ras Al Khaimah (United Arab Emirates), and Taipei (Taiwan, China).
