Bicycle: within the distance of 10km, discovering Hue city on a bicycle is preferred by a large number of visitors. Visitors can rent bikes in the accommodations or from Hung Vuong, Pham Ngu Lao streets in Hue city.

Rent a tourist car: the best means of transportation to travel with family or groups of  friends. 

Grab bike: the number of grab bikes  in Hue is not as many as  in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city but they are friendly and convenient for short distance. 

Boat: recently, Dragon boats is becoming a popular means to visitors. All boats have dragon head and golden painted. Sightseeing the two banks of the river, enjoying Hue Tune and releasing flower garlands on Dragon boats is the must-try trip to  experience the romantic and colourful scenes of the city along Huong river.
Some places to find the proper means of transportation:

Grab bikes: An Cuu and Dong Ba bus station, train station, hospitals, etc.

Cyclo: this means of transportation is polite and safe. It is considered as the best choice to slowly wander around the city and enjoy the fresh air of the city. Recently, the groups of tourist cyclo in the hotels are established such as: Huong Giang, Century, Hoa Hong, Sai Gon Morin, 02 Le Loi, La Resident Hotels, etc.

Motor bike and bicycles (for rent): Visitors can rent motor bikefrom Hung Vuong street (near Truong Tien bridge), Le Loi street (near Huong Giang hotel),  Pham Ngu Lao and Chu Van An streets.

Boats, Ships: A single-boat for about 20 people and double-boat for about 50-60 people is the safe and convenient means of  transportation for travelling along Huong river.
