On the morning of December 20, at Ngo Mon Gate-Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Centre held the opening of the e-ticket system and XR virtual reality experience service at the Complex of Hue Monuments.
Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center spoke at the opening
Since the beginning of June 2022, Hue Monuments Conservation Centre has cooperated with Thua Thien Hue IT Center to research, consult and build an electronic ticket system. This is one of the key projects of the Digital Transformation Project to ensure the integrated information system, data, and multi-service infrastructure on the digital platform of the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Centre said: "In early November 2022, after more than 3 months of implementing the e-ticket system at 4 locations with a large number of visitors: Ngo Mon Gate-Hue Imperial City, Tomb of Tu Duc, Tomb of Minh Mang, and Tomb of Khai Dinh have shown very positive results.
Up to now, 100% of entrance tickets at the above 4 relic sites have been made through the electronic ticket system and scanned the QR code when entering the gate. In the coming time, the electronic ticket system will continue to be invested and put into use at 6 new ticket sales points of the Center."
Notably, in addition to the main function of selling entrance tickets, this software introduces in a simplified form the tourist sites of the Complex of Hue Monuments managed by the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre with Vietnamese - English bilingual articles. The heritage image system selected with high aesthetics is also a highlight of this technology application.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism experiences the e-ticket service at Ngo Mon Gate-Hue Imperial City on the opening day
The deployment of smart tourism platforms and the introduction of e-tickets is an urgent issue and an effective solution to improve the management and administration of the Center. It helps manage sales revenue, and tickets; prevent loss, and errors in the process of comparison, check tickets and reduce trouble for tourists when visiting.
