Over centuries, Deng weaving has been preserved and handed down by local people. In order to create a beautiful Deng, in addition to the preparation of materials, including yarn, beads, and rattles, from the skillful hands of Ta Oi women, the gentleness on the loom and ingenuity. Ingenuity and meticulousness in beading have created unique patterns.
When Ta Oi's eldest daughter reaches the age of marriage, the bride must weave a beautiful Deng to give to her husband's family, which is also a measure of the beauty of the girls.
Currently, Deng weaving in A Luoi has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage and certified as a collective trademark, the certificate holder is the Women's Union of A Luoi district; Certified colors are black, white, red, and green.

Deng products today are highly diverse with many designs and unique types. Deng is also chosen by designer Minh Hanh as a material to put on the Ao dai, performed at the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2015; The Ao Dai Festival took place in Hanoi at the end of 2016... making designers and experts admire, contributing to affirming the brand of Deng products in both domestic and international markets.
