Having extended the best wishes to the Party Committee, government and people of Savannakhet province - Laos on Bunpimay occasion 2024, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho kindly informed local socio-economic development and Party building affairs in the past time. The Permanent Deputy Secretary emphasized that Thua Thien Hue and Sekong province have unceasingly strengthened bilateral traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation relation. Based on the leadership, efforts and determination of both sides, the leader of Thua Thien Hue province believed that the two parties will effectively carry out the cooperation memorandum in 2022-2026 period signed in 2022 to make breakthrough in bilateral cooperation relation, benefit people, make contribution to socio-economic development as well as tighten the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation relation between the two countries.

On April 14 afternoon, delegates attended the 40th establishment anniversary of Sekong province, the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos. This celebration recalls heroic tradition and great achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Thua Thien Hue province have gained during its growth. Delegates will continue to visit Salavan province on April 5, 2024.
