Continue the success of cuisine program held by Hue city, Hue traditional cuisine week will be held by the People’s Committee of Hue city to honor, preserve and promote Hue cuisine values, introduce domestic and international visitors a new annual fantastic tourism products as well as develop Thua Thien Hue into a member of UNESCO creative cities network in cuisine creativity in 2025.
Under the theme “Am thuc Hue voi bon phuong”, Hue traditional cuisine week 2024 will take place at Thuong Bac park, Tran Hung Dao street from April 27 to May 1. The event will attract Hue city and localities across the country. This intensive program about the cuisine of Hue and localities across the country is expected to bring visitors and locals new exciting experience about Vietnamese traditional and contemporary cuisine.
Joining in the event, visitors have a chance to experience Hue traditional and royal cuisine at “Khong gian am thuc truyen thong Hue”; the quintessence of country-wide cuisine at “Khong gian am thuc Hue voi bon phuong”; the combination of traditional and modern cuisine at “Khong gian am thuc duong dai” (contemporary cuisine)
Locals, visitors have a chance to enjoy performances of Master Chef and artisans. In addition, contests, amusement activities, performances will be organized during the festival. It is expected to be a fantastic activity on April 30 and May 1st occasion.
On Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023, “Tinh hoa nghe bun” festival attracted over 45.000 turns of visitors to sightsee, experience, go shopping and enjoy Hue cuisine. The estimated revenue is VND 5 billion
