According to this document, the People’s Committee of Hue city and Vingroup would together develop green transformation and sustainable development program, heading to sustainable development in 2025 - 2030 period. The two parties would cooperate in green tourism, green industry, green agriculture, green transportation and green lifestyle.
Particularly, the two sides join hand to launch “Manh liet tinh than Vietnam - Vi tuong lai Xanh” movement to accelerate the use of electric car across the city. Special policies will be adopted by both parties to support locals, officers and State-owned businesses to buy and rent VinFast electric cars or use Xanh SM taxi service. Besides, the People’s Committee of Hue city and Vingroup together research and use electric buses in the city in accordance with practical conditions and the roadmap to green energy transition as directed by the Government.
The People’s Committee of Hue city would support the planning and introduce charging stops to V-Green company. At the same time, charging infrastructure mechanism across the city would be studied by the People’s Committee of Hue city.
The two sides would cooperate in green industry, carbon credit project, digital transformation, culture, conservation, health care, green infrastructure, green capital, investment promotion, business support and marketing strategies to raise public awareness.
The People’s Committee of Hue city and Vingroup will discuss about strengths such as real estate, social housing, services, tourism, industry, education and information technology across the city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong kindly informed that Vingroup has been pioneering in green transformation with VinFast electric cars and green public means of transport. This bilateral cooperation is believed to create important opportunities to let Hue city lead the objectives for green transformation, digital transformation and sustainable development. Vingroup also has a chance to study and exploit its strengths.
Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy believed that today signing ceremony marks the beginning of potential cooperation. The representative of Vingroup wished to accompany Hue in finding solutions to accelerate green transformation, digital transformation and sustainable development, contributing to improving local living standard and accelerating local economy in a sustainable way.
The cooperation agreement between the People’s Committee of Hue city and Vingroup would further accelerate green transformation in various fields, bring locals a higher standard of living and head to a green sustainable future for coming generations. Previously, Vingroup has signed the cooperation agreement with Binh Dinh, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Vietal, FPT and VinaChem on green transformation, contributing to accelerating sustainable growth and reach net zero emission in 2025.
