According to the representative from the provincial Tourism Association, this event aims to promote creativity and enhance the skills of the workforce in the culinary sector at high-end restaurants and hotels in Hue. Additionally, it helps brand promotion and fosters a culinary exchange between Hue and the world.
The American chicken cooking contest gathered 30 professional chefs from 15 teams representing hotels, restaurants, and resorts in the province. The judging panel included professional chefs and culinary advisors from USAPEEC. The dishes needed to meet specific criteria regarding preparation methods, ingredients, and other standards set by the organizers.
Through this workshop and contest, the organizers seek to create opportunities for professional chefs from Hue’s high-end restaurants and hotels to exchange experiences, learn new techniques, and stay updated on the latest culinary trends and ingredients. The contest also provides opportunities for networking among organizations, businesses, culinary experts, experienced and world-renowned chefs, contributing to the promotion and elevation of Hue's cuisine.
