According to information from the Vietnam Railways Corporation, to meet the travel demands of both residents and tourists traveling between Huế and Đà Nẵng, starting from March 26, 2024, the Vietnam Railways Corporation, in coordination with the People's Committees of Thừa Thiên Huế Province and Đà Nẵng City, will operate trains on the Huế - Đà Nẵng route and vice versa using a business model combining transportation services with tourism services.

Every day, the Vietnam Railways Corporation will operate 2 pairs of trains numbered HĐ1/2 and HĐ3/4 between Huế and Đà Nẵng under the name "Central Heritage Connection."

Specifically, in Huế, train HĐ1 departs from Huế station at 7:45 AM and arrives at Đà Nẵng station at 10:35 AM; while train HĐ3 departs from Huế station at 2:25 PM and arrives at Đà Nẵng at 5:40 PM.

Meanwhile, in Đà Nẵng, train HĐ2 departs from Đà Nẵng station at 7:50 AM and arrives at Huế station at 11:05 AM; while train HĐ4 departs from Đà Nẵng station at 3:00 PM and arrives at Huế station at 5:45 PM. On the opening day, Vietnam Railways will operate 1 pair of trains, HĐ1 departing from Huế and HĐ4 departing from Đà Nẵng.

During the journey, the trains will stop at Lăng Cô Station for 10 minutes to allow passengers to admire the beauty, check-in, and take photos of Lăng Cô Bay - one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

Initially, the train consists of 5 air-conditioned soft-seat cars and 1 community activity car serving cultural and local culinary programs... During the opening month, Vietnam Railways Corporation will offer discounted ticket prices of 150,000 VND per ticket; monthly ticket prices of 900,000 VND per ticket (only for monthly tickets purchased at stations), and discounts ranging from 10% to 50% for passengers eligible for policy support.

Vietnam Railways officially started selling train tickets across the entire system from March 19, 2024. Passengers who wish to purchase tickets can visit the websites www.dsvn.vn; www.vetau.com.vn; through electronic wallet applications such as Momo, ZaloPay, VNPay, ViettelPay, train ticket selling apps on mobile devices...
