This event is not only a yearly program to begin a new year, but also wrap up Hue Festival 2023 and welcome Hue Festival 2024.
As a part of Hue Festival 2023 organized by the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, Countdown 2024 is a special music program attracting public attention, particularly young generations.
Countdown 2024 is expected to be a high-quality program which wraps up Hue Festival and announces Hue Festival 2024 programs. It is also an occasion for Hue city to extend sincere thank to Carlsberg Vietnam, organizations, individuals and businesses for having accompanied the province over Hue Festival seasons as well as other cultural festivities. In addition, the event continues to prove the brand and position of Hue, a featured festival city as well as make positive contribution to implementing Resolution 04-NQ/TU on developing Thua Thien Hue into a major center for culture and tourism nation wide and in Southeast Asia in 2021-2025 period and vision to 2030. The event is hoped to be a fresh start of 2024, the year in which Thua Thien Hue makes effort to become a centrally-managed city in accordance with Resolution No. 54/2019 of the Politburo.
