Awakening Bao Vinh Ancient Town Festival

Do you remember those afternoons wandering through the ancient streets, the sweet aroma of childhood snacks, or the crisp laughter echoing by the riverbank? From May 29 to May 31, 2026, Hoa Chau Ward will transform Bao Vinh Ancient Town (from Bao Vinh Bridge to Dia Linh Sluice) into a space filled with nostalgia and vibrant life during the festival: “Childhood Memories in the Heart of the Ancient Town”!

This is not just a cultural event; it is a time machine taking you back to your childhood, immersing you in Hue's heritage and the river-based lifestyle of old Bao Vinh.

1. Boat Wharf & Bao Vinh Market – “Riverine Memories”

  • Floating Lantern Night: Release glowing lanterns and make wishes on the shimmering Bao Vinh wharf.
