HUE NAM TEMPLE FESTIVAL – A JOURNEY TO THE SACRED LAND

Held biennially in the 3rd and 7th months of the Lunar Calendar, the festival attracts thousands of locals and tourists with its solemn and distinctive rituals. This is a vibrant occasion for practicing the Beliefs in the Mother Goddesses of Three Realms (an inscribed UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage). The event not only fulfills spiritual and religious needs but also enriches the local cultural landscape.

This year, within the framework of Festival Hue 2026, the 3rd lunar month festival will take place on April 18 – 19, 2026 (corresponding to the 2nd and 3rd days of the 3rd Lunar Month). Set against the sacred atmosphere along the Perfume River, the festival offers visitors a chance to find inner peace, immerse themselves in traditional ceremonies, and fully experience the essence of Hue's cultural beauty.
