At the Truoi Lake Dam, to reach the Monastery, visitors take about 15 minutes by boat through Truoi Lake. Looking around, you will see white clouds floating at the bottom of the blue water lake; admire the open-air statue of Shakyamuni Buddha sitting and meditating on the hill in front of the pagoda in the middle of the lake, 24 meters high, weighing 1.500 tons of stone. Across the lake are the constructions of Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery hidden in the smog of Linh Son Mountain located in the Bach Ma mountain range all year round.
Just stepping up from 172 steps, the three-arched gate of the Zen Monastery appeared soaring, majestic in the blue sky, white clouds. At this time, visitors admire the architectural works of the Zen Monastery, built in harmony in a complex with the monument, the main hall, the dinning room, the worship place, the abbot's residence, the bell floor, the relic tower... gathered on the lush primeval forest. Interleaved in the gardens and forests are precious plants and flowers that are charming due to the hands of the monks, nuns, and Buddhists here collecting and taking care of them.
After visiting the pagoda landscape and lighting a prayer incense, visitors can admire the charming watercolor landscape, and ancient pagoda roof; the pattern exalts the ancient, pure, elegant, gentle and pleasant. Visitors are also invited by the Venerable Thich Tam Hanh, abbot of the Zen Monastery, to enjoy tea and talk. Coming to the Zen Monastery, visitors can understand more about the Truc Lam meditation line and if there is a predestination, they will be guided to practice how to meditate and rightly pray and bless. According to Venerable Thich Tam Hanh, the monastery was started in March 2006 and completed after two years of construction under quite difficult conditions because of the way of transportation with funding from the contribution of the Association and Buddhists.
